Talk Therapy
I offer traditional talk therapy services that are based on established methods of treatment and backed by decades of efficacy research within clinical psychology. My role is to identify and foster the methods of treatment that meet your unique requirements and help bring about lasting change.
I provide treatment for a number of mental and behavioral health issues including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief & Loss
- Life Changes
- Stress & Coping
- Trauma
At this time, I do not provide substance abuse counseling, mandated offender treatment, tele-health, or couples therapy. Additionally, being in private practice, I do not have the resources for clients that may require case-management or multiple treatment options (e.g., individuals with chronic mental health conditions and a history of repeated psychiatric hospitalization).
Theoretical Approach
My approach is an integrative one and pulls from my training in:
- humanistic & existential counseling theory
- cognitive/behavioral interventions
- somatic perspectives (yoga, meditation, martial arts)
- affective neuroscience & preconscious associations
I’m a strong believer of personalized approaches. For effective treatment, it’s important to understand the nature of how your experiences relate with your symptoms. A cookie-cutter approach can only get us so far as one person’s ‘anxiety’ may be much different than another’s – even if their symptoms seem similar.

Crisis Services
I provide 24-hour crisis coverage for active clients who may be experiencing a life-threatening psychiatric emergency. These services are tailored to meet the needs of the client’s situation and may range from phone support and same-day appointments, to hospital evaluations and assistance with inpatient admission to an appropriate psychiatric facility.
